Ephemerides
Illustrated historical fact sheets retracing the major events of the American War of Independence
Overview
The SAR France ephemerides are a collection of illustrated historical fact sheets devoted to the landmark events of the American War of Independence and the Franco-American alliance. Each sheet, written by members of the History Committee, places a feat of arms, a diplomatic episode, or a historical figure in context, on the anniversary date of the event.
These documents serve as a tool for historical outreach, aimed at making the French contribution to American independence known to the widest possible audience.
